☪️ Quran: Chapter 22 The Pilgrimage – Al Hajj سورة الحج

Background:

This chapter focuses on Resurrections, Day of judgement, Human life cycle, human rights, pilgrim, permission to believers to defend themselves

 

I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the condemned.

With the name of Allah, the gracious the merciful.

 

1- O people, be pious to your God (Obey Allah and protect yourself from his punishment attributes), indeed quaking of the hour, is a mighty thing

 

2- The day you see it, will get distractedly shocked, every nursing away from whom she nurses, and drop every pregnant her pregnancy, and you see the people drunkards, while they are not drunk, because the torment of Allah is severe (As it is clear now that there is judgment after death)

 

3- And among the people is who argue about Allah with no knowledge, and follows every rebellious devil

 

4- Was written upon him, that whomever who guards him, he will indeed guide him to the torment of the blaze

 

5- O people, if you were in doubt about The Resurrection, the indeed We have created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from clinging-clot, then a chew (Lump of flesh) shaped and unshaped (Human shaped) to make clear to you (state of pregnancy), and We establish (Keep, plunk, flip) that what We will, to a named term, then We bring you out a child, then to reach your strength, and among you who is taken by death, and among you who is returned to the most despicable age, to not know after knowledge, nothing, and you see the earth lifeless (still), so as We send on it water it shook and swell and grew from every pairs, what is lovely

 

6- That is because Allah is the truth, and indeed He is who bring alive the dead, and indeed He is over everything, competent

 

7- And, indeed the hour is coming no doubt about it, and indeed Allah will resurrect those in the graves

 

8- And among the people is who argue about Allah with no knowledge and no guidance and no enlightening book

 

9- Twisting his side (To escape the argument), so he can stray away from Allah’s path, so him in the lowery life disgrace, and We will make him taste on the day of Resurrection to torment of fire

 

10- That is for what your hands have put forward, and indeed Allah is never unjust to the (His) slaves

 

11- And among the people, is he who worships Allah on an edge, so if good strikes him he is reassured with it (About his faith), and if a trail strikes him, he turns on his face (reversed his stance), lost this lower life and the hereafter, and this the clear loss (Irreversible loss)

 

12- He calls upon that who is lower than Allah, which he neither harms him nor benefits him, that is the far away stray

 

13- He calls upon that whose harm is closer than his benefit (intermediates to idols), how wretched is your patron and how wretched is the companion (Fun buddy)

 

14- Indeed, Allah admits those who believed and did righteous (What leads to Allah’s straight path) to gardens beneath which rivers run, indeed Allah does what He wills

 

15- Whoever thinks that Allah will not support him (Muhammed) in the lower life and the hereafter, so let him extend a rope to the heavens, then cut it off, then see will his plan does away with his ire (Plan and do your utmost to the point of almost hanging yourself, will still do you no good)

 

16- And like this We sent it down clear verses, and indeed Allah guides (The person who is seeking guidance) whom He wills

 

17- Indeed, those who believed and those who were guided (Jews who before Islam) and the Sabeans (Abrahm followers who strayed Partner with Allah and the stars) and the Nazarenes (Christians before Islam) and the Magians (Partner with Allah and Worshiped fire) and those who associated (Idolators and who Partners with Allah others), indeed Allah will separate between them on the day of Resurrection, indeed Allah is upon everything witness

 

18- Do not you see, that indeed prostrate to Allah (Every species in the universe prostrate/obey In a manner that fits his nature and purpose)whoever in the heavens (Angels) and whoever in the earth and the sun, and the moon, and the stars, and the mountains, and the trees, and the pounding creatures, and many of the people, and many is justified for the punishment, and whoever affront (Humiliate) him Allah, for him there is no bestower of honor, indeed Allah does what He wills

 

19- These are tow rivals, that rivaled over their God, so those who disbelieved was cut for them garments of fire, and poured from above their heads scalding burned water

 

20- Melt with it what is in their bellies and the skin

 

21- And for them, whips of iron

 

22- Every time they want to get out of it because of the anguish, they are returned in it, and “taste the torment of fire”

 

23- Indeed, Allah admits those who believed and did righteous (What leads to Allah’s straight path) to gardens beneath which rivers run, they are adorned in it with braces of gold and pearls, and their garments in it is of silk

 

24- Has been guided (By Allah) to what is good among the sayings (There is no Deity but Allah), and guided to the praiseworthy path (To Paradise)

 

25- Indeed, those who disbelieved, and repel away from Allah’s path and the secret mosque that We made it for the people, same (equally to all people), the devoted in it, and the outsider, and whoever wants in it a deviation with unjust will make him take painful torment

 

26- And as We made a retreat to Abrahm the site of the house (Showed him the settling place), “Do not associate with Me anything, and purify My house for those who circumambulate, and those who resides (in seclusion for worship), and the and those who bow and prostrate

 

27- And proclaim in the people the pilgrimage (O Muhammed), they will come to you on foot, and on every starveling (From long travels)they will come from among every deep ravine

 

28- So, they can witness benefits (Worldly and spiritually) for them, and mention Allah’s name in known days over what He had provided them from among the beast of livestock, so eat from it and feed the miserable poor

 

29- Then they would end their untidiness (Clean up, cut hair, nails) and fulfil their vows, and circumambulate the ancient house

 

30- That, and whoever magnifies (most obeys) the sacred forbids of Allah (Allah’s commands) so that is best for him with his God, and allowed for you the grazing livestock, expect what will be recited upon you, and side away the filth among the idols, and side away from falsehood saying (false testimony, perjury)

 

31- Inclining to Allah not associating with him, and whoever associate with Allah it is like he has dropped (Free fell) from the sky, so snatches him the birds, or blows him the wind in a deep place

 

32- That, and whoever magnifies the rituals of Allah, it is indeed from the piety of the hearts

 

33- For you in it (Allah’s rituals) benefits to a named term, then its (Slaughtering ritual) place to the ancient house

 

34- And for every nation (the like group)We made a ritual (Doctrine of obedience, scarify) so they may mention the name of Allah over what He has provided them from among the cattle beast, for your Deity is one Deity, so for Him submit, and give good tidings to the reassured (In Allah with humility)

 

35- Those when Allah’s mentioned, their hearts trembled, and the patient on what has stricken them, and the establishing prayers, and from what We have provided they spend

 

36- And the camels We made them for you among The rituals of Allah, for you in it good, so mentioned Allah’s name upon them lined up (To be In good shape), so if it came due on its side (Slaughtered), so eat from it and feed the content (The poor who does not ask) and the beggar, like this We subjected it to you, that hopefully you may give thanks (For facilitating doing good deeds)

 

37- Will not reach Allah its meats and nor its blood (of no benefit for Allah), but rather what reach Him is piety from you, like this He subjected it to you, so you may glorify Allah for what He had guided you, and give good tiding to the good-doers (Who obeys Allah more than He imposed)

 

38- Indeed, Allah defends those who believed, indeed Allah does not like every traitorous disbeliever

 

39- Is permitted, to those who are being fought, as they have been wronged (To fight back), and indeed Allah upon their victory is able

 

40- Those who were expelled out of their homes with no right, except that they say ”Our God is Allah”, and if not for Allah repelling people among some by some others (Faithfull and unfaithful, oppressors and oppressors and vs), it would be have been demolished monasteries, and churches, and synagogues, and places of prostration (mosques) in which the name of Allah is much mentioned, and will surely Allah support those who support Him (Follow Allah’s path), indeed Allah is The strong mighty

 

41- Those that is We enabled them in the earth (Gave them authority and power), they established the prayers and brought Zakat (Charity)and commanded by what is known (To be right by Allah) and forbid what is denied (By Allah) and to Allah belongs the outcome of all matters

 

42- And if they deny you, so were denied before them the folks of Noah and Aad and Thamud

 

43- And the folks of Abraham and folks of Lut,

44- And the companions of Madyan, and was denied Moses, so I prolonged (Grace period) to the disbelievers, then I seized them, so how was their deny (Replaced their blessing into curse)

 

45- And how many villages We perished while it is unjust, so it is ruined on top of its thrones, and disabled wells (Lifeless place), and built castles

 

46- Have not they walked in the land, so they can have hearts that they can reason with, or ears they can hear with, it is indeed not the eyes that get blinded, but rather get blinded the hearts that is in the breasts

 

47- And they hasten you for the torment, and will not let behind (Fail) Allah his promise, and indeed a day at your God is like one thousand years of those you count

 

48- And how many among the village I prolonged for it while it is unjust, then I seized it, and to Me is the fate

 

49- Say” O people, indeed I am to you but a clear warner”

 

50- So those who believed and did righteous (What leads to Allah’s straight path) for them forgiveness and generous provision

 

51- And those who strove in Our signs to disable (challenging to defeat it) those are the companion of hellfire

 

52- And We did not send from before you any messenger nor a prophet, except that if he wished (recited revelations) Satan threw in his whishing (Throws obstacles in the way of the revelations, and try to prevent people from understanding it and being affected by it), so annuls Allah what Satan throws, then establish Allah His verses, and Allah is Knowing Wise

 

53- To make what Satan had thrown as a trial for those whom in their hearts sickness and the harsh hearted, and indeed the unjust are in far discord

 

54- So that can know those who were brought to the knowledge (Those believers, when they see the result of the behavior of the unjust sickened hearted and harsh hearted disbelievers), that it is (Quran)the truth from your God so they believe in it and humbly submit to it their hearts, and indeed Allah is guiding those who has believes to s straight path

 

55- And still (For all times) those who disbelieved be in doubt of it (Quran), until comes to them the hour suddenly, or come to them the torment of a barren day

 

56- The sovereignty that day is for Allah, He judges between them, so those who believed and did righteous will be in the gardens of bliss

 

57- And those who disbelieved and denied our signs, for those for them a humiliating torment

 

58- And those who emigrated in the path of Allah then were killed or died, will surely Allah provide them a good provision, and indeed Allah is the best of the providers

 

59- Will surely enter them an entrance that pleases them, and indeed Allah is All Knowing Forbearing

 

60- That, and whoever had punished with the similitude of what he was punished with, and then was castigated (unjustly) upon him, Allah will surely aide him ( Allah In charge and will justly level the plain), indeed Allah is pardoning forgiving

 

61- That, is because Allah enters the night in the day and enters the day in the night (Hands on in charge), and indeed Allah is Hearing Seeing

62- That, is because Allah is the truth (Absolut truth that does not change), and that what you call upon from among those lower than Him are falsehood, and that Allah is The Most Hight The Great

 

63- Have not you seen that Allah has sent down from the sky water so it becomes the earth green, indeed Allah is subtle

 

64- To Him belongs what in the heavens and the earth, and indeed Allah is the All-Sufficient (of no need) the Praiseworthy

 

65- Have not you seen that Allah has subjected to you what is in the earth and the ships runs in the sea with His command, and holds the sky from falling on the earth except with His permission, indeed Allah with the people is Kind Merciful

 

66- And it is He who make you alive, then will make you die, then make alive, indeed the human is surely ungrateful

 

67- For every nation (group of people) when made to them their rites (fits the issues of their time), so rite him (Follow Muhammed as this is a final rite that came to dominate all rites before it) as they will dispute you (Previous nations, Jews- Christians claiming they had their own messengers and rites too), and invite to your God, indeed you are on a straight guidance

 

68- And is they argue with you, say” Allah is most knowing of what you are doing”

 

69- Allah shall judge between you on the day of Resurrection, in what you were deferring in

 

70- Do not you know that Allah knows what in the heavens and the earth, indeed that is in a book, indeed that is for Allah is easy

 

71- And they worship from among those lower than Allah, with what He did not sent down authority, and that which they have no knowledge of, and there will not be for the unjust any helpers

 

72- And as it is recited upon them Our clear signs, you will recognize in the face of those who disbelieve the disapproval, they almost assault those who recite upon them Our signs, say “Should I inform you with worse than that” the fire had promised Allah those who disbelieved, and what a wretched fate

 

73- O people, an example is stricken so listen to it, indeed those who calls upon those lower than Allah, will not create a fly even if they gathered for it, and if the fly should rob them a thing, they will not recover it from it, weak are the pursuer and the perused

 

74- They have not estimated Allah’s His true worth, indeed Allah is Strong Mighty

 

75- Allah sifts from the angels, messengers and from among the people, indeed Allah is hearing seeing

 

76- He knows what is between their hands and what is behind them, and to Allah return all matters

 

77- O you have believed, believe and bow and prostrate and worship your God and do what is good, that maybe you will succeed

 

78- And strive to God His due striving, He had choose you (Selected you for the Quran), and did not make upon you in the religion any difficulty, the way of your father Abraham (Submission to The One God), he had named you The Muslims (submitters) from before, for this, so the messenger became a witness on you, and you be witness upon the people, so establish prayers and bring Zakat (charity) and hold on to Allah, He is you guardian, a blessed guardian and a blessed helper
