· The texts in Red are Translations.

·       The texts between brackets are (Interpretations).

·       The translation is faithful to The Quranic Arabic Language.

·       The Quran styles itself as divine speech by employing the first person singular or plural (“I” or “We”) in statements that refer to Allah.

·       Utterances by Prophet Muhammed are generally introduced by the command “Say,” thus emphasizing that the Prophet is speaking on divine injunction.

·       Ultimately Allah knows best.

The Arabic Holy Quran revealed upon the prophet Muhammed (PBUH) during the years 609-632 CE is divided into 114 chapters, of which 86 chapters were revealed in Mecca, and 28 chapters were revealed in The Madinah

Those revealed in Mecca deal primarily with the "Islamic Creed" including belief in Allah, the Omnipresent and Eternal, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Resurrection and Judgment Day, and the divine preordination of good and evil.

Those revealed in The Madinah deal mainly with moral principles, legislation, community development, and warfare.

Allah Knows Best

Al-Fatiha, also titled “The Opening” and “The Mother of the Book,” emphasizing its significance in Islamic teachings.

affirming His  unique and unparalleled divinity.

Gratitude to Allah: Stresses the importance of being grateful to Allah, acknowledging that He is the ultimate source of all goodness.

Source of the Quran: Declares that the Holy Quran originates from Allah, emphasizing its divine nature.

Exclusive Worship: Emphasizes that worship and reliance should be solely on Allah, rejecting any form of association with others in worship.

Promise of Resurrection: Affirms the belief in the Day of Resurrection, a central tenet of Islamic eschatology.

Belief in the Unseen: Encourages faith in the unseen aspects of existence, including the afterlife, angels, prophecies, and divine guidance.

Submission to Allah: Calls for complete and unconditional submission to Allah’s will and commands.

Other Aspects of Al-Fatiha:

The chapter also contains promises, warnings, stories, and examples of Allah’s mercy, serving as a comprehensive guide for both spiritual and practical aspects of life .

(It is an acknowledgment of the unseen):

On the Day of Judgment, Allah’s judgment is fair and impartial, with no partners, family, or associates to influence His decisions. Everyone is equal before Allah, and only their deeds and the purity of their hearts will determine their standing.

All you have is indebted to Allah. Master Owner of Judgment Day,

i.e., The Day of Judgment is metaphorically referred to as the “debt reconciliation day,” where the debts of one’s earthly actions are settled

Allah alone holds the indisputable power to judge with mercy and justice, unbiased and unparalleled).

Ultimately guidance is from Allah).

<Ehdena Al serata Al mustaqeem>

﴿٧﴾ صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ

7- The path of those You have given boon upon them,

(Who choose willingly to seek and follow  God's Path, so God guided and put them on His Straight Path)

e.g. Prophets, Righteous, believers,

(Quran Chapter 4-69),

And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger - those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor from among the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs, and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions.

(Quran Chapter 6-161),

 (Quran Chapter 2-130))

not those that you evoked anger (ire, anger. wrath) upon them,

We do not want to follow the path of the displeased with

Those who knew God’s commands and path, and still intentionally and persistently disobeyed, and strayed others.

e.g. Falsifier Jewish scribes at the time of the prophet, disbelievers liars, Satan

(Quran Chapter 2-79)

So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from Allah," in order to exchange it for a small price (worldly bribes).

Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn.

And (Quran Chapter 2-89-90)

Whoever disbelieved in Allah after his belief, except who was hated to (forced under compulsion) while his heart is secure in faith, but that who expanded with disbelieve his breast (His heart satisfied and happy with disbelieve), so upon them (who disbelieved, and who is heart is satisfied with it) anger (wrath) from Allah, and for them a great torment

(Quran Chapter 16-106)

nor those who are astray.

We do not want to follow the path of those who strayed

Those who choose to follow a faith with No Knowledge from God,

So, they strayed away from Allah’s Straight Path, and did not even seek knowledge back to Allah’s path

e.g. by following others blindly or their ego, just do not care,

the polytheists and idol worshippers following false beliefs,

the Nazarene (Christians) who just faithfully followed their priests

(Quran Chapter 46-5)

“And who is more astray than who invokes from among those who are lower than Allah, those who will not respond to him until Judgement Day, and they of their invocations are heedless”)

Nor, those who are gone astray.

Mainly those who choose to follow a belief with No Knowledge of Allah blindly.

So, they stray away from Allah’s Straight Path and do not even seek knowledge back to Him

The Holy Quran, in its essence, is a divine revelation that can only be fully appreciated in its original Arabic language. Any translation or interpretation, including the one presented here, is not and cannot be a replacement for the Arabic Holy Quran. I intended to offer an English rendering that remains faithful to the original Arabic. I am neither a scholar nor do I possess any formal Islamic qualifications. My approach to this translation is empirical, drawing upon my readings of selected scholarly interpretations, personal experiences, and understanding of the Holy Quran as a Muslim native Arabic speaker.
