☪️ Quran: Chapter 24 The Light – Al Nour سوره النور

This Chapter covers social reform, divine laws and guidance that was needed for the newly formed Muslim community in Medina
I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the condemned.
With the name of Allah, the Gracious the Merciful.
(Acknowledge and declare that Allah is the author of the Quran)
1- Surah (firm protective fence, chapter), We sent it down and imposed it, and sent down in it clear signs, that hopefully you will remember (urge to follow and remember its benefit)
2- The fornicatress and the fornicator (Intercourse between unmarried woman and man), flog each one of them a hundred flogs, and take no mercy on them in Allah’s religion (No mercy in this command) if you believe in Allah and in the last day, and let witness their torment a group of the believers
3- The fornicator does not wedlock except a fornicatress or a polytheist (female), and the fornicatress does not wedlock her except a fornicator or a polytheist, and is forbidden that (fornication) upon the believers
4- And those who cast (accuses adultery) the chaste women then do not bring four witnesses, then flog them (The accuser) eighty flogs, and do not accept from them a testimony ever, and those are the dissolute
5- Except those who repents from after that, and reformed (amended and did good deeds), as surely Allah is Forgiving Merciful
6- And those who cast their spouses (accuses adultery) and had no witness for them, except themselves, then the testimony of one of them is four testimonies that by Allah he is of the truthful
7- And the fifth is that Allah’s curse in upon him, if he was among the liars
8- And is warded off her the torments, if she testifies four testimonies by Allah that he is of the lairs
9- And the fifth is that Allah’s wrath is upon her if he was among the truthful
10- And if not for Allah’s blessing upon you (Legislating) and His Mercy (Then disgrace and the enmity between you would have increased between you), and indeed Allah is accepting of repentance, Wise
11- Indeed, those who come with slander (Deliberate lying), they are a gang from among you, do not count it as evil for you but rather it is a blessing for you (As Allah exposes to become a future deterrent and a kind of support for the Messenger and his call), for every person of them what he earned from among the sins, and that who guard the greater from among them (Initiated and lead the most slander), for him a great torment
12- If not, (it should have been) if you have heard it (The Slanders), you should have thought as the believers (men) and the believers (women) of one another good and say “That is a clears slander”
13- Why they do not produce upon it (the slander) four witnesses, then if they do not produce the witnesses, then those are the disbelievers
14- And if not for Allah’s blessing upon you and His mercy, in the wordily life and the hereafter, then would have touched you, in what you have overflowed (divulged of speedy slander), a great torment
15- As you cast it with your tongues, and say with your mouse what you have no knowledge of, and you count it as trifle, and it is with Allah a great thing
16- Whereof, as you heard it should has said” It was not for us to talk about that, Exalted, that is a great slander”
17- Admonish you Allah, that you many return to the like of it, ever, if you were believers
18- And Allah makes clear to you the signs, and Allah is Knowing Wise
19- Indeed, those who loves that obscenity propagates among those who believes, for them painful torment in this world and the hereafter, and Allah knows and you do not know
20- And if not for Allah’s grace upon you and His Mercy, and indeed, Allah is clement merciful
21- O you have believed, do not follow the steps of Satan, and whoever follows the steps of Satan, so indeed he commands with obscenity and the deniable, and if not for Allah’s grace upon you and His Mercy none of you would have ever been pure, but Allah purifies whom He wills, and Allah is hearing knowing
22- And would rise (Not appropriate to swear, it should not be) for those of virtue and generosity, to indeed bring (bring forward, treat harshly)those of kin and the needy and the immigrant in the path of Allah (if they errored), and would (rather) pardon and forgive (them), do you like that indeed Allah forgive for you, and Allah is Forgiving Merciful
23- Those who throw the chaste the unaware the believers (Not on her mind, could due age), they are cursed in this world and the hereafter, and for them great torment
24- The day that will bear witness upon them their tongues and their hands and their legs as to what they were doing
25- That day will fulfill them Allah their true debt (maturity date), and they will know that indeed that Allah is the clear truth (Manifest fixed truth)
26- The wicked (women) for wicked (men), and the wicked (men) for the wicked (women), and the good (women) for the good (men), and the good (men) for the good (women), those are innocent of what they say (Others slander by them), for them forgiveness and noble provision
27- Oh, you have believed, do not enter homes other than your homes until you are comforted (Allowed comfort, welcomed) and greet its inhabitants, that is better for you (all), hope that you remember
28- So, if you do not find in it anyone, so do not enter it until is permitted for you, and if was told to you to “Go back” so go back, that is purer for you, and Allah with what you do is knowing
29- There no awkwardness to enter not inhabited homes, in it comfort for you, and Allah knows what you reveal and what you conceal
30- Tell to the believer to deficient their sight (limit their sight to what permissible), and preserve their private parts, that is purer for them, indeed Allah is acquainted (well informed, expert) of what they are doing
31- And tell the believing (women) to deficient their sight (Limit the glimpse do not the gaze), and preserve their private parts, and do not expose their adornment (Decorations e.g. Jewelry, alluring body parts) except what appears of it (Out of necessity), and strike with their headcovers (A tight, knotted cloth that covers the head) on their pockets (Tightly strike, extend the draping part of the headcover knot to cover the neck and chest, cleavage) and do not expose their adornment except to their husbands or their fathers or their husband’s father or their sons or their husband’s sons, or their brothers, or their brother’s sons, or their sisters’ sons, or their women (maids), or what their right hand possess, or the belonged (mentally deficient), and those of no need from the men (Elderly), or the child who were not exposed (aware)to women private parts, and do not strike with their legs (e.g. anklets) to make known what they conceal of their adornments (To bring attention to themselves), and repent to Allah all of you, O believers, that hopefully you will prosper
32- And marry the unmarried from among you (facilitate their marriage) and the righteous from among your (male) salves and female slaves (living maid-servants), if they are poor, Allah enrich them from His bounty, and Allah is All encompassing knowing
33- And would seek abstinence those who do not find marriage, until Allah enrich them from His bounty, and those who desire to write (Contract for eventual emancipation) from among who your right hand possess, so write them (Contact with them) if you knew within them goodness, and bring to them from Allah’s money, and do not compel your salve girls to prostitution if they desire chastity (And even if they do not) desiring the offer of this lowery life (by compelling them to prostitution for money), and whoever compel them, so indeed Allah from after their compulsion is Forgiving Merciful (To the compelled female save)
34- And We have certainly brought down to you clear signs and examples from those who has emptied (left and passed) from before you, and admonition for the pious
35- Allah is the light of the heavens and the earth, the example of His light (He causes, Enlightenment) is like a niche, in it a small pot, and the small pot in a glass, and the glass as if a self-illuminating planet, is lit from a blessed olive tree, neither of the east or the west (Nothing blocks it light), almost its oil glow, even if no fire touch it, light upon light (The sensory light and the Quran’s light), guides Allah to His light (Quran’s spiritual and curriculum light) whom He wills, and Allah strikes the examples to the people, and Allah of all things Knowing
36- Homes (Holy spots, mosques) permitted Allah for it to be raised, and mentioned in it His name, exalted (chanting) to Him within it, by the mornings and night
37- Men, no trading nor commerce distracts them from the remembrance of Allah (Even while trading) and establishing prayer (On time)and bringing Zakat, they fear a Day that turns in it the hearts (From the horror) and eyes (Panic)
38- To reward them Allah the best of what they have done and increase them from His excess (Bounty), and Allah provides to whom He wills with no account. (Freely as Allah needs not report to anyone)
39- And those who disbelieved, their deeds are like a mirage in a bottom (desert plain), suppose it (these deeds) the thirsty (Disbeliever) as water (Good deeds), until he comes to it, he finds it nothing (Worthless deeds), and finds Allah at it, so He fulfilled him his account (What due to him for not believing), and Allah is swift in account
40- Or like darknesses in a volatile sea, that membranes it waves on top of it waves on top of it clouds, darkness some on of top some, if he takes his hands out, could almost not see it, and whoever Allah did not make for him light, for him there is no light
41- Have not you seen, that indeed to Allah exalts whom in the heavens and earth (by doing their assigned by Allah takes), and the birds in arrays, every knew their prayers and exaltation (Subjugated by Allah, works perfectly), and Allah is knowing of what they (all his creation free willed or not) do
42- And to Allah the dominion of the heavens and earth, and to Him is the destination
43- Have not you seen, that indeed Allah gently sends clouds, then bring them together, then makes it into stacks, so you see the drizzle comes through it, and sends down from the skies among mountains, in it coldness, so He strikes with it whom He wills, and distract it from whom he wills, almost its flashing lightning takes away the sights
44- Turns Allah the night and the day, indeed in that is crossing (guidance) for those of sight (especially conscious sight)
45- And Allah created every pounding (Creatures) from water, so among them who walks on their belies, and among them who walks on two legs, and among them who walks on four, creates Allah who He wills, indeed Allah over everything is able (Competent)
46- We have certainly brought down clear signs, and Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path
47- And they say “we believed in Allah and the messenger and obeyed”, then turn away a faction among them from after that (By still sponsoring their old ways), and those are not believers
48- And if they were called to Allah and His messenger to judge between them, so then a party from among them turns aside (Not seeking what is just and right)
49- But if the right is theirs, they come to him submissive
50- Is there in the hearts sickness, or they are in doubt (In the Messenger), or they fear unfairness upon them from Allah and His messenger, rather they are the unjust
51- But the saying of the believers, when they were called to Allah and His messenger to judge between them, that indeed they say ”we heard and obeyed” and those are the prosperous
52- And whoever obeys Allah and His messenger, and awe Allah and is careful of Him (be pious, avoid disobedient), so those are the triumphant
53- And they swear by Allah, an exerted oath, that if you ordered them, that they would go forth (To strive in Allah’s path), say do not swear, a known obedience (You are just saying empty words), indeed Allah is aware of what you are doing
54- Say obey Allah and obey the messenger, so if they side away, then upon him (The messenger) what he was loaded (The delivery for the Quran), and upon you what you were loaded (obedience and performance), if you obey you will be guided, and there not upon the messenger except the clear notification
55- Promised Allah those who believed from among you, and did righteous (deeds), that He will surely make them successor in the earth, the like whom He made before them as successors, and will surely empower to them their religion that He has pleased for them, and surely substitute from after their fear security, they worship Me and do not partner with Me anything, and whoever disbelieve from after that, then those are the dissolute (Transgressor)
56- And establish the prayers and bring zakat and obey the messenger, that you may be receive mercy
57- Do not count that those who disbelieved are unabling (Causing failure to Allah) in the earth, and their refuge is fire, and what a wretched destination
58- Oh you have believed, would let excuse you (Teach them to excuse) those whom your right hand possess, and those who did not reach puberty from among you, three times before dawn prayers (While you are asleep), and when you put on your clothing from among noon (Nap time), and from after the night prayers (At sleep time), three privacy to you (Private parts, scratch the eye to see it) neither upon you not upon them ward, after that circulate upon you (Free roaming time during the day), some of you among others, like this makes Allah to you clear the signs, and Allah is All-knowing Wise
59- And if reached the children from among you puberty, so they should excuse you (Ask permission) the like those before them have done, like this made clear Allah to you His signs and Allah is All-knowing Wise
60- And the setting from among the women (Past child bearing time, postmortem) that do not desire marriage, so there is no ward upon them to put on their clothing not with display of adornment (Lighten their clothing with modesty in mind) and be chaste better for them, and Allah is Hearing Knowing
61- No upon the blind constraint, nor upon the lame constraint, nor upon the ill constraint, nor upon your selves to eat from your houses or your father’s houses or your mother’s houses or your brother’s houses or your sister’s houses or your father brothers houses, or your father’s sisters houses, or your mother’s brother houses, or your mother’s sisters houses, or the ones that you possessed its keys, or your friend, there no constraint that you eat all together or separate, and if you enter houses, give greetings upon yourselves (upon each other), greeting from Allah, blessed and good, like this Allah makes clear to you the signs, that hopefully you may rationalize
62- Indeed the believers who believed in Allah and His messenger, and if they were with him upon a together matter, and did not go until they have asked permission (To be excused to go), indeed those who ask you permission, those who believe in Allah and His messenger, so if they asked permission for something of their affairs, so grant them permission, to whom you will, and ask for them forgiveness from Allah (being busy with your own affairs rather than the general affairs of Muslims in meeting with Messenger), indeed Allah is forgiving Merciful
63- Do not make calling the Messenger among your sieves the like of calling some of you to some, Allah knows those who slips away (sneak out) from among you refuging with other (Pretending to respond to others), will beware those who turn back from his (Prophet) order, that strikes them a trial, or strikes them a painful torment
64- Is it not surely to Allah what in the heavens and in the earth, and surely knows what you are upon, and on the day they return to Him He will inform them of what they have done, and Allah with everything is All-Knowing
