The Holy Quran (Period 609-632 CE) can only be in Arabic.
· Texts in Red & Blue are Quranic Scripture Translation
· Texts Between (Brackets are Quranic Interpretation Notes by the Translator).
· Texts Between <Is the Arabic pronunciation of the Quran>.
· The Holy Quran is the only revealed by God book that exists today unchanged and
preserved in its original revealed language.
The Arabic Holy Quran revealed upon the prophet Mohamed (PBUH) during the years 609-632 CE is divided into 114 chapters, of which 86 chapters were revealed in Mecca, and 28 chapters revealed in The Madinah
Those revealed in Mecca deal primarily with the "Islamic Creed" including belief in Allah, the Omnipresent and Eternal, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Resurrection and Judgment Day, and the divine preordination of good and evil.
Those revealed in The Madinah deal mainly with moral principles, legislation, community development, and warfare.
Allah Knows Best
Also known as Luqman the Wise. He was a wise man who lived (c. 1100 BC) and is believed to have been from Nubia or Egypt. The Quran does not state whether Luqman was a prophet or not.
An Example, if Allah does not guide us we will never find out.
I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the condemned.
With the name of Allah the gracious the merciful.
(Acknowledge and declare that Allah is the author of Quran)
Chapter 31 Sura Luqman: Translation and Interpretation
1- Alif .Lam. Meem.
A lot of speculations and opinions on (These “standalone letters-words”, are at the start of selected chapters, they are not part of a sentence that can guide us to understand their meaning, or compare them to other similar sentences in the Quran, nor these “standalone letters-words” are a continuation to another chapter that can give us insight in their meaning.
When a word is a part of a sentence and that word is new or has multiple meanings, to better understand its meaning, it helps to compare it when it appears again in the Quran, and by comparing them we can better understand their meaning.
But these “Stand alone letters-words” are not part of any sentence even if repeated they are still “stand-alone”, despite they are letters in the form of words no one could explain their meaning over the centuries, since Allah did not guide us to their meanings like other new or unfamiliar words in the Quran.
To put things in perspective, the Arabic language has around 12 million words vs the English language's around 600 thousand words e.g. there are over 200 Arabic words for the English word Lion.
My personal view is without Allah’s guidance nothing can be understood, so these letters could be an example of our dependency on Allah's guidance in our life and via his "Straight path" in The Quran.
And Allah knows best)
2- These are the signs (verses)
of the wise book. (Precise to the point speech of wisdom, with no loose ends)
3- Guidance and mercy to the improvers (improvers are the well-doers, that do well above the basics commanded by Allah)
4- Who keep up prayers and bring (willingly)
Alms (Islamic charity for social justice)
and they of the hereafter, they are sure. (Always doubtless of meeting Allah)
5- Those are on guidance from their God (Guidance by God who created you raised you and knows the best for you) and those are the fruitful (In this world and hereafter)
6- And among the people who buy distracting speech (meaningless to mislead and divert),
to stray (himself and others)
away from Allah’s path, without knowledge (buying a losing deal, and do not even have enough knowledge on how to distract),
and takes it (the speech, and also Allah Path)
for a mockery, for those a painful torment.
7- And when our verses are recited upon him, he turns away (offered his back)
in arrogance as if he had not heard them, as if in his ears heavy deafness, so preach (usually good news, here is preached in mockery)
to him a painful torment.
8- And those who believed and did righteous deed, for them paradises of bliss
9- Abiding in it eternally, Allah’s true promise (The righteous justified right, non-preventable)
and He is the all-mighty all-wise (judge).
10- Created the heavens without pillars you can see (either has no pillars or you cannot see them),
and casted down (found deep down) into the earth anchorages (stakes, underground part of the mountains) that it would not (the earth) tilt (shift, sway) with you,
and propagated (spread) in it, from every pounding (walking, crawling, moving, pulsing, life),
and brought down from the sky water and grew in it from every pair what is generous and decent. (proper noble)
11- This is Allah’s creation, so show me what created those others than Him, indeed the unjust (to themselves and others) are in a clear stray.
12- We have brought (inspired) to Luqman (The Sage from Nubiah/Egypt) the wisdom, be thankful to Allah (The ultimate wisdom, is that you recognize Allah, the source of all things) and whoever is thankful to Allah is thankful to himself (His self will be free, e.g. from tyranny, and will reap the benefit of his thankfulness in this world and hereafter) and who disbelieve (deny and refuse), then Allah is all-sufficient (in no need), praised.
13- And when Luqman said to his son advising him (preaching, admonish, give him friendly earnest fatherly advice) my son do not (take) partner (do not associate partners) with Allah, indeed partnering (with Allah) is great injustice. (to yourself and others, as you become a slave-follower, to who or what is equal to you and who was created by Allah, and by worshiping other false deities than Allah, you forfeit Allah’s mercy guidance)
14- And We (Allah) entrusted (enjoined, innate) the humans to their parents, carried him his mother weakness (fragility, soft, cushy) upon weakness (getting weaker fragile during pregnancy) and his weaning in two years, and thank to Me and to your parents, and to Me is destiny. (Inevitable fate of all parents and children)
15- And if they (your parents) strive you (effortlessly relentlessly pressure you) to partner (associate) with Me (Allah) that of which you have no knowledge (another deity or anything), do not obey them, and accompany them (stay close to them) in this world with what is common (to parents kindness, gratefulness, righteousness), and follow the path of those who were reprimanded (those who were reprimanded by their parents and choose to stay with Allah) to Me (back to me), then to Me will all be your return, then I shall announce to you all what you used to do. (e.g. Children's Good deeds for treating parents, and parent deeds for disobeying Allah).
16- O my son if it is a weight of mustard seed, in a rock (tight place), or in the heavens, or in the earth (vast place), Allah will bring it, indeed Allah is gentle and knowledgeable. (expert)
17- O my son, establish prayer (keep up and maintain a connection with Allah at all times, not only by performing prayers at its times) and command (order, rule, act) with what is commonly right (kindness, good for all), and forbid what is renounced (by Allah) and be patient on what struck you (coming to your way hardship, like an arrow inflected by destiny from Allah, as an atonement, test. Or harm inflected by other usually for being righteous, but all is done with Allah’s permission) surely these (advises) are among the determined affairs. (Must do things, that require courage, determination, and resoluteness)
18- And do not fret your cheeks (twist your neck in arrogance) toward people, and do not walk in the earth frisky (jubilant, frolic, cheerfully), indeed Allah does not love every swash proud. (vainglorious, self-important, wiggling in pride)
19- Pace modestly (walk moderate, straighten your pace and intension) subdue (lower, curtail) your voice (sufficient for the listener) indeed the most renounced sound is the voice of the donkeys. (if a human sounds like a donkey).
20- Do not you see that Allah subjected (designed to serve you) to you what is in the heavens and in the earth and dyed (innate, embedded in you) upon you His blessing (your senses, night and day, et..) apparent and internal (e.g. physically visible and hidden). And among the people who argue about Allah with no knowledge nor guidance nor an enlightening book. (Shed light on the unknown to them)
21- And if told to them follow what Allah has brought down (Allah’s Books), they say “Rather (We care not, it is easier for ourselves) we follow what we found our parents upon “as if Satan was inviting them to the torment of the blaze. (their selves are what causes disobedient to Allah, not Satan)
22- And whoever surrenders his face to Allah, while he is a well-doer (All in, follows Allah ‘s path), then he has grasped the trustworthy handle (That balance that will pull you to Allah, away from the desires of oneself and luring of Satan) and to Allah is the sequel (consequences) of all orders (affairs, matters).
23- And who disbelieved, do not grieve (addressing Mohamed PBUH) for his disbelieve, to Us their return (both who believe and disbelieve), to inform them of what they have done, indeed Allah is all-knowing of what self holds in the chest. (Deep in the chest-heart).
24- Will grant them (disbelievers) little enjoyment (in this world) then will obligate (tighten, constrict, compel) them to massive (manner less) torment.
25- And if you ask them who created the heavens and earth, they will say “Allah”, say praise to Allah (As they admitted), but most of them do not know. (The true Path to Allah)
26- To Allah belongs what in the heavens and earth, indeed Allah is The sufficient The praiseworthy
27- If rather what in the earth of all trees (made) are turned into pens, and the sea stretched (as replenished ink) by thereafter seven seas, Allah’s words will not be exhausted (This will not be sufficient for Allah’s words (BE)), indeed Allah is mighty and wise.
28- Neither your creation nor your resurrection but as one soul (effortless like Adam’s soul, just created by the word “Be, so he becomes”), Allah is hearing seeing (knowing).
29- Have you not seen that Allah shifts (rolls) the night into the day (the night acquires from the day, takes over the day, so the night increase and the day decrease, in an ongoing motion) and (simultaneously) shifts the day in the night, and subjected the sun and moon (Precise motion, to labor and serves humans), all (sun, moon, etc..) streaming (running, being, operating as designed) to a specified time (helps human e.g. measuring days, months years, math. etc.. and all functioning till the end of days), and Allah is all-aware (knowledgeable, export) of what you do. (Allah is Omnipresent managing all and knows what is needed)
30- That is because Allah is the truth (true and just creator) and that what they call upon (invoke partners to Allah) of lower than Him (as partners) is falsehood (there can only be one truth, but a lot of falsehood), and Allah is the all-high all great. (Most high, most great)
31- Have you not seen that ships stream in the sea by Allah’s grace to show you some of His signs, and in those signs for every steadfast patient and grateful? (So be hard-working, steady like the ship in Allah's path, be thankful and patient, will lead to more signs, and more guidance. From Allah)
32- And when the waves overlaid them (cover them the sailors and contained them) like shades, they call to Allah ( pray, invoke Allah, even disbelievers do) faithful to His religion (Loyal to Allah only. In danger ego vanishes & frighten soul tends to see the truth that can save it), But, when He saved them to the shore (out of their hardship), then among them are the frugal (becomes stingy on their promises and believe in Allah, wishy-washy in faith), and none denies Our signs (completely denies our favors, by attributing it to other than Allah) except every treacherous disbeliever. (Ungrateful)
33- Oh people be pious to your God (Fend yourself from his punishment by obeying him for what he gave, for all people) and fear (dread, humbly, submissively) a day when no parents can ransom their child, nor a child can ransom his parents with anything. Indeed, Allah’s promise is just (the Promise of Judgement Day is the truth, and when it happens everyone gets their own share for their deeds) so do not let this lowery (worldly) life ego you, (delude, feed your ego, be proud with it) and do not be egoist (beguiled) against Allah, by the egoist. (The egoist is Satan the deceiver, who feeds on your ego, and his racist ego that he feels better than Adam in nature that expelled him from Allah’s mercy when he disobeyed Allah )
34- Indeed Allah has the knowledge of the hour (death of each person and end of days) and sends down the rain, and knows what is in the uteruses (full knowledge of life and death of the human ), while the self does not perceive (know) what it will earn tomorrow, nor in which land it will die, Indeed Allah is all-knowing all-knowledgeable. (Aware)
